2026 is The British Horror Film Festival's seventeenth year and we had an amazing and horrific line up! There were a number of awards up for grabs at the Festival, including the prestigious British Horror Award for Achievement in Film on a Low Budget and the Rising Star Award for upcoming talent in the industry. WRATH OF THE GODS

Young, grieving widow Anna returns to Hel Island to bury her late husband after his suicide. She is cast out by the eccentric locals for being a symbol of bad luck and evil. When children start going missing the island is forced to reckon with its dark history of familial abuse and the terrifying beast-like forces of the sea.
